We would like to boost awareness and competency about how hiv impact the lives of LGBTQI persons whether they are living with the infection or not. Although the HIV epidemic is on retreat in most western countries, there are still severe problems with stigma and shame for people living with HIV even within the LGBTQI demographic, and infection prevention and control is extremely important to reach the goal of stopping HIV from spreading within the next ten years. How do we talk about HIV and preventive measures such as PrEP, condom use and abstinence in the LGBTQI population? How can we fight stigma, reduce shame and fear and educate people about preventing HIV infection?

This workshop was supposed to held on Thursday but has been moved due to technical difficulties.
